The thing is in Power Rangers Mystic Force, what really got my attention was this that the characters of Rita Repulsa and the Mystic Mother were connected into one character, which is after Rita Repulsa was purified in Power Rangers in Space. It kind of got my attention at the same time that it was Soga Machiko footage so no surprise that both characters were merged although in Super Sentai, Bandora (Rita Repulsa) didn't become Magiel (Mystic Mother) since it's just highly impossible without Countdown to Destruction.However I think it kind of drives the question- since when did Rita Repulsa get so big? If you remember Countdown to Destruction, Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa became human, they were still a couple and the appearances were kind of different. So another, how did Rita Repulsa also gain her new sit as a high ranking sorceress of good magic? It's just kind of boggles me though but I guess Disney was trying to honor the death of Soga Machiko (which happened after Magiranger was completed) by connecting the characters together.
A big mystery if you ask me!

they were honoring Soga Machiko because
her performance as Bandora became the
inspiration for Repulsa (if the laat
part is correct).
So, the Mystic Mother voice actor
thing was just a nod to Soga.
Or rather tribute in the case.
